The Anderle family chapel was built around 1885 and was located at the edge of the cemetery. Today, this location is part of the main street in the town of Žiar nad Hronom – SNP Street.

The Anderle family was one of the wealthiest families in Svätý Kríž nad Hronom, owning several properties and vast fields. Jozef Anderle was involved in the founding of the Tekov-Svätý Kríž Savings Bank.

After the decision to build the ZSNP factory, extensive construction began in the town, and the chapel with the cemetery ended up in the town center. The cemetery was moved to the outskirts of the town, and the chapel was demolished in 1973. This was likely influenced by the communist regime and the ideology of that time.
